I have been buying your soup for years..always for friends or family. They would always call me to tell me how good it was. I finally bought for myself…wow! It is so delicious. I add a little bouillon to mine for flavor but that’s me!. I’ve purchased twice now for myself! It is a fantastic matzoh ball soup. I highly recommend.

My friend said the matzo ball soup wasn’t as good as last time - it was bland and lacking flavor….plus the carney deli sandwich kit - the pastrami was way too fatty so they couldn’t eat it at all. Disappointing as I’ve ordered from you many many times.

We were gifted an order of Grandma’s Chicken Soup, with matzo balls and noodles. While it is saltier than our home made version, I can attest that the matzo balls are delicious “floaters”. The soup is a favorite for us, and we recently ordered it for a family gathering.

I have been ordering the soup for many years and I have to say the product is still as good as it started off, but I also have to tell you that soon you’ll be able to get maybe one serving of it. I can’t believe how much it has shrunk in size, but yet gone up in price. I just received my new order the other day and because of health issues a neighbor came over to unpacked it for me and he was like I can’t believe how small container I remember when it used to come in like a big gallon size container I would say over the years it’s probably half of what you used to receive, still good, but just so much less of it

I had very high hopes because the soup was banging! The mac n cheese was just blah. I cooked it for 70 minutes and could have gone longer. It was very dry as well, and not from the cook time. I went the 40 minutes then added 10 min at a time, and it stayed dry the whole time. I was waiting for that nice bubble, but it never happened. The cheese itself was essentially tasteless, completely overwhelmed by the cracker crumbs on top. That mac n cheese would turn me off from this site completely because it is not exactly inexpensive.

We’re sorry to hear the mac and cheese didn’t meet your expectations. Our mac and cheese is actually fully cooked before it’s shipped, so reheating it is really just meant to defrost and warm it through. Cooking it for 70 minutes would likely cause it to dry out quite a bit, which may be why it never developed that creamy bubble you were expecting.
As for the topping, we only add a light layer of cracker crumbs, and many customers tell us it’s their favorite part. That said, we truly appreciate you sharing your experience and your honest feedback.

While the friend who just received the food I sent has not eaten it yet, I wanted to review my part of the process. I could not be happier with how smooth the ordering was. I even got personal advice from the very friendly company owner on what items to choose, when I called, as a first time user of Grandma's. The shipping was timely and uneventful, and I received updates on the shipment's progress. Good job! I will add Part 2 of my review when my friend reports to me after eating (and I suspect I will be jealous of her).
